More than just a university book
By Daniel Skatov
Delivers compact and sound overview of conceptual things, important to understand today: ACID and CAP, scalability, scale-up vs scale-out, in-memory technology, caching, Big Data, business modeling. Not focusing on tiny details like specificities of outer joins, instead – tries to cover more topics short and concise.
